    Leichter Versuchsflakwagen VFW-L

Light experimental anti-aircraft vehicle "Leopard": as early as 1942, the Army Weapons Office commissioned the industry to develop a future light anti-aircraft tank, which was to replace the interim solution on a 38t chassis and could accommodate calibers between 2cm and 5cm in a freely rotatable and protected turret. The basis for this was an extended chassis of the passenger car that had become available in the meantime. II L "Luchs" was chosen, which has already gone into series production in small numbers. A tower solution based on the anti-aircraft towers already developed by the Ostbau was placed on top of this, which allowed the operator and weapon to be used in an all-round rotatable structure under armor protection. The project never got past the drawing board stage and a mockup. This is the design of a light experimental flak car for 2cm and 3.7cm Flak proposed by the Reich Air Ministry, based on the design by Krupp.
